Leagues
Summer league is designed to provide a fun way for players to stay active over the summer months while learning and improving their field hockey skills. It is also a great way for middle school and high school players to work on their skills and improve their game play to prepare for the fall season.
The summer league program consists of drills-for-skills and 7v7 games. Varsity level players and above are invited to stay for full-field 11v11 open play at the end of the evening, 8-9PM.
College players home for the summer make up the coaching staff. With the warm weather, some sessions include spirited water activities involving water balloons and super soakers.

Summer field hockey fun with contests, water nights, popsicles, High-5 Awards, and a prize bin. College field hockey players return as assistant coaches under the direction of high school coaches. The format is a group warmup, drills for skills, and small sided games. A weekly curriculum is planned to progress skills over the course of the summer. The basics are reinforced weekly to ensure that the fundamentals are developed properly. High coach involvement ensures a low player-to-coach ratio. Weekly attendance isn’t required to participate in the program and players can miss due to vacations or other commitments.
