The Spring and Fall Youth Field Hockey programs are specially designed to introduce young players in Kindergarten through 6th grades to the fun game of field hockey.  Sessions are once a week for a 5 to 8 week period, allowing our youngest athletes the opportunity to explore the sport of field hockey while continuing with their other activities.

The curriculum focuses on developing basic field hockey skills using fun drills and small-sided games.  Emphasis is placed on individual possession skills (ball control) and elimination skills (dodging defenders) as well as pushing and receiving skills (elementary team play).

Required equipment: Outdoor Field Hockey Stick**, Shin Guards, Mouth Guard

** Field hockey stick can be ordered on registration form.

Offered once a week for a 5 to 8 week period during April-May and Late August-Early October.
